The working group consultation on “Improving the Berlin Process” was held in a hybrid format on July 8, 2021 and jointly organized by RESECO and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The participants in the working group were Norbert Beckmann Dierkes, Head of Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Serbia and Montenegro, Ardian Hackaj, Director of Research at the Institute for Cooperation and Development, Tirana, Aleksandra Tomanić, Executive Director of the European Fund for the Balkans, Stefan Surlić, Executive Director of RESECO, and Ivana Berić, Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholar. The meeting was moderated by Andrijana Lazarević, RESECO Project Assistant.
One of the key conclusions set forth by Mr. Beckmann Dierkes was that “The Berlin Process was established by older generations to have the younger generations work on implementing this idea for a better future of the region.”
