The Western Balkans region has been facing numerous challenges in terms of security and stability, and reconciliation between different ethnic groups has been a crucial aspect in resolving these challenges. In this context, the last working group of 2021 was organized to discuss the topic of understanding and reconciliation in the Western Balkans from the perspective of security policies.
The working group on “Understanding and Reconciliation in the Western Balkans from the Security Policy Perspective” was held on November 8, 2021, with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The topic was discussed by three speakers, Miša Đurković, Director of the Institute for European Studies in Belgrade, Robert Čoban, President of the “Kolor press group”, and Veran Matić, journalist, and director of the humanitarian organization Fond B92, special envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
