The working group on “European Future of the Western Balkans” was held on October 8, 2021 in a hybrid format. The speakers discussed the necessary reforms and socio-political challenges for the Western Balkans on its way to the EU and other topics.
The topics were discussed by Vladimir Ateljevic, a member of the negotiating team for the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union for chapters 30 and 31, Sena Maric, a program manager and senior researcher at the Center for European Policies (CEP), Milan Antonijevic, executive director of the Open Society Foundation, Serbia, Nikoleta Djukanovic, assistant professor at the Department of Foreign Policy and International Organizations at the University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro, Suzana Grubjesic, advisor at the Center for Foreign Policy, and Vesna Markovic, a national assembly member from the Serbian Progressive Party list.
The project is implemented with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Belgrade.
