Conference on “Creative European Models of Cooperation and Integration” was held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The conference was divided into two panels. The first panel, dedicated to the theme “European Union and Integration Policies: Internal Reforms and/or Enlargement”, was discussed by Dr. Johannes Gold, West Balkans/Southeastern Europe Referent, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Berlin, Milena Lazarević, Program Director, Center for European Policies (CEP), Gerald Knaus, Chairman of the research organization European Stability Initiatives (ESI), Berlin, Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, European Affairs Expert, former Minister of the Republic of Montenegro for European Affairs and former Head of the Republic of Montenegro’s EU Negotiating Team, and Nemanja Purić, researcher at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade and alumni of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The main theme of the second panel was “The Western Balkans – Regional Cooperation on the Path to the European Union”. The speakers at the panel were Hans-Joachim Falenski, a German diplomat and former foreign policy advisor to the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Berlin, Marko Kmezić, Professor and Senior Researcher at the Center for Southeast European Studies at the University of Graz, and Aleksandar Simurdić, Director of the “European Affairs” Fund AP Vojvodina.
